Join leaders from across Hendricks County to learn about Crisis Intervention: Deescalation Training with Lieutenant Evan Love from the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office. Lt. Love has led Deescalation Training for officers and is now bringing that training to the civilian level! This is a virtual lunch-and-learn event, so no travel necessary!
In this session participants will learn:
How to help someone in a crisis change their behavior
How to use active listening skills
How to employ de-escalation techniques
